Things are really heating up at the World of Concrete show in Las Vegas both in terms of the air temperature, and the excitement generated by Armor Tiles new replaceable cast in place tactile system.

The new design comes in response to consumer demand for a replaceable product. Were listening to our customers, says Mark Heimlich, West Coast Operations Manager for Armor Tile. Contractors are looking for a product that is durable and can be replaced easily. Customer response at the World of Concrete show has been very positive, with many people stopping by Armor Tiles outdoor booth to see the new product.
Armor Tile replaceable is the best choice for situations where the tile could potentially be damaged, such as heavy vehicular traffic. These new tiles can be replaced at any time without having to destroy the concrete structure supporting them. Armor Tile replaceable provides the owner with the option of quickly changing out a damaged tile at minimal cost, says John Heffner, Armor Tile Sales Representative for the Pacific Central region.
All you have to do is remove the domed fasteners using an appropriate socket and fitting, remove the existing tile, insert the new unit in place, and tighten it down to the surface by fastening it to the permanent concrete anchors. The replaceable tiles are guaranteed to fit in any same sized Armor Tile replacement situation.
Previously, replacing a cast in place tile would add up to $1800 in material and labor costs to rebuild the structure and replace the tile, explains Heimlich. Now, it costs as little as $150 and one guy to change an Armor Tile replaceable tile.
If youre heading down to Las Vegas for the World of Concrete show, be sure to stop by the Armor Tile booth in the central hall, and our outdoor exhibit right on the main pathway in the north parking lot. Youll also find regular updates throughout the show and in the weeks to follow on our website, www.armor-tile.com. The World of Concrete continues through Friday.
