This year at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas, Armor-Tile unveiled its latest innovation: the Surface Applied, Stainless Steel, Advantage Tactile System. With a larger indoor booth than prior years, and two outdoor booths, Armor-Tile was a huge part of North Americas largest and most important construction exhibition.
Armor-Tile displayed its entire product line including polymer composite and stainless steel truncated dome cast in place and surface applied detectable/tactile warning tiles, detectable directional bar tiles, and detectable guidance tiles - all available in nine standard colors. Armor-Tile generated tremendous interest by providing information about the federal and various local regulations which require all curb ramps, blended transitions, and platform edges to incorporate detectable warning surfaces, discussing with show attendees the need for, and benefits of using highly durable and easy-to-install truncated domes, and offering product training and installation seminars for Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Inspectors.
