Curb Ramps Info

Curb ramps utilizing truncated dome warning tiles are required to connect pedestrian access routes to street crossings. Generally, this requires two separate curb ramps at a corner instead of a single ramp that opens diagonally onto an intersection. Single installations are discouraged where possible as they can misdirect blind pedestrians who use the slope of curb ramps as a cue.
