Detectable Directional Tile (Bar Tiles)

Bar tiles create a tactile induction line to assist the visually impaired in finding their way to destinations, such as door openings on train and transit platforms, and bus stops (California Building Code Title 24).

•Manufactured in a variety of widths with raised bars spaced 3 inches apart on center

•Base is flush with surrounding surface, while bars are raised .2 inches for detectability

•Design creates ease of distinction between surrounding surface and bar tiles; finding and following a line of tiles is easy
